Bart Van Pee
Bart Van Pee is oprichter van Ectosense, een in Leuven gevestigd bedrijf in de digitale gezondheidszorg dat zich richt op de diagnose van slaapstoornissen.
Ectosense ontwikkelde NightOwl, een slapenapneutest voor thuisgebruik via een internetverbinding, en werd in 2021 met succes overgenomen door ResMed.
In de sessie ‘Why health tech capital is different’ deelt Bart het perspectief van een oprichter die erin geslaagd is een gereguleerd bedrijf in de gezondheidstechnologie tot een succesvolle overname te brengen, waarbij hij werkzaam was op het snijvlak van software, medische hulpmiddelen, klinische acceptatie en toegang tot internationale markten.
