Chie Nakatani

Chie Nakatani is een cognitief neurowetenschapper wiens werk een brede waaier aan onderwerpen bestrijkt binnen de cognitieve en computationele neurowetenschap, waaronder aandacht, bewustzijn, mind-wandering, en de computersimulatie van elektro-encefalogrammen (EEG). Ze is medeauteur van talrijke wetenschappelijke publicaties, waaronder het invloedrijke handboek Introduction to Human Neuroimaging (Cambridge University Press). Naast het doceren van EEG-methodologieën als gastdocent aan de KU Leuven, richtte ze GoodNeuro op, een onderzoeksondersteuningsdienst die pleit voor verantwoord gebruik van neurotechnologie.

Chie Nakatani is a cognitive neuroscientist whose work covers a range of topics in cognitive and computational neuroscience, including attention, consciousness, mind-wandering, and the computer simulation of electroencephalograms (EEG). She is the co-author of numerous scientific publications, including the influential textbook Introduction to Human Neuroimaging (Cambridge University Press). Alongside teaching EEG methodologies as a guest lecturer at KU Leuven, she founded GoodNeuro, a research support service advocating for the responsible use of neurotechnology.
