Dorien Emmers
Prof. Dorien Emmers is universitair docent Chinese Studies en Economie aan de KU Leuven en als onderzoeker verbonden aan het Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions. Haar werk richt zich op de Chinese economie, samenleving en ontwikkeling.
Tijdens het panelgesprek ‘Moet Europa in hetzelfde tempo innoveren als de VS en China?’ geeft ze een goed onderbouwde visie op het Chinese innovatiesysteem, de economische omstandigheden in het land, de technologische prioriteiten en de manier waarop Europese bedrijven het Chinese tempo moeten interpreteren zonder naïef te worden.
