Dr. Claudia Schnugg

Dr. Claudia Schnugg is een Oostenrijkse curator en artscience-onderzoeker die de wisselwerking tussen kunst, wetenschap en technologie verkent via internationale tentoonstellingen, residenties en publicaties. Ze is oprichtend curator van het Universe Pavilion in Venetië, dat in 2025 in première ging en door Table Media's Space Table werd erkend als "Top of the Table 2025." Ze is auteur van Creating ArtScience Collaborations (Springer, 2019) en bekleedde onderzoeks- en onderwijsfuncties aan onder meer JKU Linz, het UCLA Art|Sci Center en het European Southern Observatory. Haar curatoriale praktijk stimuleert dialoog tussen artistiek en wetenschappelijk onderzoek, en resulteerde in meer dan 70 kunstwerken en artistieke producties. Gecureerde residenties vonden plaats met partners zoals acib Wenen, European Space Agency/ESTEC, Helmholtz München, en het JRC van de Europese Commissie. Dr. Claudia Schnugg is an Austrian curator and artscience scholar she explores the interplay of art, science, and technology through international exhibitions, residencies, and publications. She is the founding curator of the Universe Pavilion in Venice that premiered in 2025, recognized by Table Media's Space Table as "Top of the Table 2025." She is the author of Creating ArtScience Collaborations (Springer, 2019) and has held research and teaching roles at institutions including JKU Linz, UCLA Art|Sci Center, and the European Southern Observatory.
