Tim Van Cleynenbreugel
Tim Van Cleynenbreugel is medeoprichter en CTO van Replasia, een in Leuven gevestigd medtech-bedrijf dat gepersonaliseerde oplossingen ontwikkelt voor heupbehoud. Replasia combineert anatomische analyse, digitale planning en 3D-geprinte implantaattechnologie om een meer gepersonaliseerde behandeling voor patiënten met heupdysplasie mogelijk te maken.
Tijdens zijn sessie zal Tim vertellen hoe het voelde toen ‘zijn’ innovatie bij een patiënt werd toegepast. Zijn lezing biedt een zeldzaam perspectief op de oprichters- en ondernemerskant van het ontwikkelen van gezondheidstechnologie. Wat betekent het om medische hardware te ontwikkelen die de operatiekamer binnenkomt en onderdeel wordt van iemands lichaam?
