Wim Van Hecke
Wim Van Hecke is de oprichter en CEO van icometrix, een in Leuven gevestigd bedrijf in de gezondheidstechnologie dat op AI gebaseerde software voor hersenscans ontwikkelt voor de neurologische zorg.
Met icobrain helpt icometrix clinici om klinisch relevante informatie uit MRI- en CT-scans van de hersenen te halen, ter ondersteuning van de diagnose, monitoring en evaluatie van de behandeling bij neurologische aandoeningen.
Tijdens zijn sessie op woensdag wordt Wim vergezeld door een chirurg die icobrain in de klinische praktijk gebruikt en een patiënt die icompanion gebruikt, de app voor patiënten die is ontwikkeld om mensen met multiple sclerose en hun zorgteam te ondersteunen. Samen brengen zij drie essentiële perspectieven naar voren: dat van de ontwikkelaar, de arts en de patiënt.
